In The Shade brings together seven residential projects from Boon Design, the architectural design office headed by renowned Thai architect Boonlert Hemvijitraphan. Boonlert’s work demonstrates the rare integration of rigorous formal clarity with lightness of touch, quietly balancing the echoes of aesthetic precedents with an entirely fresh sense of possibility. Taking their place in the tropical climate, these projects show a subtle articulation of materials that lends richness and texture to the interplay of open and closed, of interior volumes and surrounding landscape.
